FuroTrack (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides farm management software and traceability services for agricultural producers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our platform, website, or mobile application.

2. Information we collect

Account information

When you register, we collect your name, email address, farm details, and subscription information.

Farm and operational data

You choose to store farm records in FuroTrack — including animal registrations, health events, feed logs, and financial records. This data belongs to you. We process it solely to deliver the service you have subscribed to.

Usage data

We collect technical logs such as request timestamps, feature usage, and error events. This data is used to improve reliability and performance.

3. How we use your information

• To operate and maintain the FuroTrack platform
• To send account-related communications (setup, security alerts, invoices)
• To provide customer support
• To produce anonymised, aggregated analytics about platform usage (never individual farms)
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your operational farm records for advertising.

4. Data sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us operate the platform (cloud hosting, billing providers where used, email delivery, and support tooling) and only under appropriate data-processing agreements. Where required by law or court order, we may disclose information to authorities.

Traceability certificates you choose to publish via the public verification portal are visible to anyone with the certificate link — you control what is published and can revoke access at any time.

5. Data retention

Active account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days. You can request export or deletion of your data at any time by contacting privacy@furotrack.com.

6. Security

Production deployments use encrypted transport and controlled infrastructure access. Passwords are stored using PBKDF2 with unique salts. Tenant-owned records are separated by tenant and protected by role-based access controls.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@furotrack.com.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
